35.3 kW Kentucky Solar Install at Armed Forces Reserve Center

Carrollton NGC

This Kentucky National Guard Armory in Carrollton took a meaningful step toward energy independence with this 35.3 kW rooftop array — 107 Trina Solar 330W modules installed in 2018.

Over its guaranteed 25-year life, the system is projected to generate 973,110 kWh and offset approximately 857 tons of CO2, the equivalent of taking more than 185 cars off the road for a year. For a facility that operates 24 hours a day, five days a week, in service to the Commonwealth, reducing dependence on grid power is both a practical and patriotic investment.
