13 kW Residential Solar Install in Fisherville, Kentucky

This 13kW rooftop installation just outside of Louisville was part of the Solar Over Louisville campaign, a community, bulk-purchasing partnership between Solar Energy Solutions and Metro Louisville government. Completed in July of 2022, the array features 33 Tesla 395W panels, with a SolarEdge inverter. Tesla’s panels include the low-profile Zep skirting around the array which hugs the roof tighter, conceals any wiring, and allows for a more sleek appearance.

The system is sized to cover 113% of their annual usage, with an eye towards an electric vehicle purchase in the near future. The homeowners in this instance were in retirement and wanted to control costs and bring certainty to their monthly expenses. They were also motivated by the value solar adds to the home.

SES has the most experience with Tesla panels and battery systems in the region, and is one of the few installation companies that can offer these products. We are excited to see many more projects like this bring benefits to homeowners in a way that is aesthetically beautiful, financially sensible, and environmentally impactful.
