How the Solar Panel Recycling Process Works
The solar panel recycling process Comstock Metals uses is designed to recover as close to 100% of a panel’s materials as possible:
- Retired panels are collected and shipped to Comstock Metals’ processing facility.
- Panels are mechanically broken down to separate the aluminum frame, glass, and internal circuitry.
