1.23 MW Installation for Distillery in Frankfort, KY

Castle & Key Distillery has invested in a large-scale solar installation designed to reduce operating costs and support long-term energy independence. Phase I of the project utilizes 754 NE Solar modules and was completed in 2024. Phase 2 was finished in 2025 and completes the system with 1,282 ZN Shine panels. The entire solar array will generate a significant portion of the distillery’s power needs, will pay for itself in 3.2 years, and will cover about 20 percent of the distillery’s energy costs.
