44.69 kW Installation for Historic Society in Kentucky

The Olive Hill Historical Society has been preserving Carter County’s past since 1999, operating out of the restored 1929 Olive Hill High School — now home to the Olive Hill Center for Arts & Heritage. Their commitment to securing the future of this landmark extends to its power source.

This 44.69 kW array uses 109 NE Solar/ZNShine panels mounted across two roof surfaces — flush on the building’s distinctive barrel-shaped gymnasium roof and ballast-mounted on the flat front section. The system is projected to produce approximately 52,037 kWh in its first year, reducing energy costs for a nonprofit that depends on every dollar to serve its community.
