Solar Energy Solutions has completed over 25 projects for the Kentucky National Guard in almost every corner of Kentucky. SES teams are background checked and security cleared for military work and have installed systems ranging from 30 kW to 300+ kW on armories, grenade testing ranges, equipment storage warehouses, training centers, airfields, and aircraft hangers.

This project in Richmond Kentucky at the Armed Forces Reserve Center, one of 8 we completed that same year is part of a push by the National Guard to reach an overall 30% usage of renewable energy by 2025.

The ground-mounted array sits on driven posts atop an already established geothermal loop that heats and cools the training center.

As a result of the many projects, we and others have executed with the Kentucky National Guard system energy costs dropped from $2.44MM to $2.04MM over a 14-year span. A period during which utility costs tripled!
