Solar Energy Solutions has been conditionally awarded the Solar Over Louisville (SOL) program for the 2nd year in a row! Solar Energy Solutions is deeply committed to providing residents of Louisville solar installations from our installation office and crew based in Louisville, Kentucky. Solar Energy Solutions performs all its solar energy system installations with in-house, highly trained, and certified installers and installed a record number of installations for Louisville as part of their solarize effort in 2022 – the 3rd largest such program in the US.
SOL Program 2022 Highlights
The 92 solar arrays represent about $2.8 million of local investment in solar and 836 kW PV. This includes project grants by the Louisville Metro Government to low- to moderate-income residents through its Office of Advanced Planning and Sustainability. The awarded projects totaled $113,000 in grants to seven income-qualifying homeowners for the entire solar installation cost. Many participants chose to add battery storage to their solar energy systems. In total, 38 Tesla Powerwall home batteries were installed for program participants.
